What are image preference questions and how do I use it?

When designing your unmoderated study, you can use image preference questions to present image files and have testers select an image. This can be helpful if you’re running a quick and dirty A/B test to get early signals on your design concepts.

Step 1. In an unmoderated study, add a question.

Step 2. Under “Answer Type”, select “Image Preference”.

Step 3. Click “Upload Image”. You can upload images one by one.

Step 4. Select the image files to upload.

Step 5. Check the preview and make any changes as needed. You are now set to go. As a general tip, you can add follow up question to probe why one design is preferred to another.
