Screening participants in a user study ensures that the collected data aligns with the study's objective and learning goals. It helps filter participants who may not be the best fit for your targeted user profile.
Below are a few ways to setup and screen participants for your studies:
1. Use Hubble’s recruiting panel (and respondent.io integration soon!):
Hubble helps you find participants that are perfect fit for your studies using its own recruiting panel. For now, you can select the Contacts tab, and then External pool to fill in desired participant profile details. Scroll down to submit the request and one of the Hubble team members will reach out to you.
2. Using specific page URL or events in in-product surveys:
With in-product surveys, there is a variety of trigger configuration options. Specifying a specific page URL to trigger the survey will allow you to reach out to participants that fulfilled the configuration options. For example, if you were to gauge the purchasing experience on the website, you can trigger a survey on the thank you page to follow-up for feedback.
3. Using logics to screen participants:
You can add logics to the study questions to direct participants to skip or jump to specific sections of the study or end it. Adding logics is available in both unmoderated studies and in-product surveys. Simply toggle on the Add logic option located at the bottom left of the screen to create logic.
