Hubble's AI-powered study generation feature helps you quickly set up research studies, including surveys and usability tests, by leveraging AI to generate relevant questions and task types while keeping the study structures in the context of the Hubble app. Follow these steps to create an AI-powered unmoderated study in Hubble.
Step 1. Create a new study
In your workplace, go to Unmoderated studies tab, then select + New study.
Step 2. Select Generate with AI
You'll have the option to start with scratch, use AI to generate study, or browse templates to begin with. Select Generate with AI.
Step 3. Fill in study details
You'll be prompted to fill in study details. Please refer to the tips section to provide as much detail as possible for a detailed study generation.
You can specify the following parameters and details:
- Study Length: Specifies the level of detail and length of the generated study. While the number of questions are not strictly followed, it is used as a reference for AI on how detailed a study should be.
- Learning Objectives (at least 200 characters): Please share the overall learning objectives, context of the study, product domain or industry, or the type of method and medium you want to test.
- Target Audience: Share details about your participant criteria. While demographic information is helpful, focus on behavioral aspects of your target audience.
- Additional Details: Any additional details contributes to AI to create a more relevant study and detailed follow-up questions.
Step 3A. Use presets to auto-populate a template
We provide a few templates for you to kickstart and customize the text as shown above. You can refer to the example text and edit the text to tailor your research needs and objectives.
Once you fill in the details, you can move on and Generate. You can always come back to revise the prompt.
Step 4. Review and start with the generated study
Once the study is generated, you can review each question. As shown above, a relevant study name is created ("User Satisfaction and Sentiment Survey") with a brief description of the study details.
You can review each question by selecting each question on the left hand side.
- If the study looks good as is, you can proceed and select Start with Template to further customize the template. Once you start with the template, you will not be able to come back and revise the prompt.
- If the generated study does not meet your expectations, you can select Back: Revise Prompt to give additional details or tweak the prompt.
Disclaimer: As the feature is still in beta as we continue to make improvements, please keep in mind that it may rarely break sometimes, which may require you to re-run the generation request.
