Internal participant management lets you create and manage your own participant database directly in Hubble.
You can add existing contacts to Hubble, keep them organized in one place, and invite selected participants to future research studies without having to create new recruitment projects or re-enter their information each time.
What can you do with Internal Participants?
With Internal Participant Management, you can:
- Add participants by uploading a CSV file
- Manually type/paste participant information
- Store and manage participants in a centralized table
- View participant information and traits
- Select participants from your list when recruiting for a study
- Send study invitations directly to selected participants
- Streamline the incentive payout by connecting with Tremendous integration
This can be useful for managing groups such as your own customers, internal employees, beta users, VIP participants, or any other participant pool your team regularly conducts research with.
How it works
The general workflow is:
1. Add your participants
Import an existing participant list using a CSV file, or paste participant information directly into Hubble using comma-separated values.
Before you add, you can review the participant information before they appear in your internal participants table.
2. Manage your participant list
Use the participant table as a central place to view and manage the people available for your research.
Participant records can contain basic contact information as well as additional traits your team uses to organize or identify participants.
You can also categorize participants by different groups to effectively manage different customer segments.
3. Recruit participants for a study
When you're ready to recruit for a Hubble study, you can select participants from your internal list and invite them to participate.
This allows you to reuse your existing participant database across multiple studies instead of uploading a new contact list each time.
When should I use internal participants?
Internal participant management works well when your organization already has access to people you want to conduct research with.
For example, you might use it to manage:
- Existing customers
- Internal employees
- Product beta testers
- Research panel members
- VIP or high-value customers
- Participants you've previously recruited
If you don't already have participants to recruit, you can also use Hubble's participant recruitment options to find participants for your study.
